Who am I?

Hi, I’m Joyce, the voice behind The Jinxed Goblet! I’m currently in university studying economics and accounting. In my free time, I like to read, watch Netflix, bullet journal, practice piano, and play video games. Besides writing book reviews, I hope to share some other of my interests like stationery, technology, fitness, and more.

How the Jinxed Goblet Came About

I originally started The Jinxed Goblet as a book blog to document the books I read. I’ve enjoyed immersing myself in the book community. From sharing my thoughts through reviews, discussing books with other readers, and connecting with a myriad of creators.

Overtime, as my interests and hobbies have evolved, I want my blog to reflect these changes. I knew this would happen one day and I purposely set my blog name up so I could never lock myself into a specific category. Even the tagline, “The world is filled to the brim with magic” is meant to express just how vast my interests are.

One thing will not change though, and it’s how The Jinxed Goblet has been my passion project. I use it to learn new things, to be productive, to stay creative, and other activities that help me to grow.

I know it’s cheesy to say that I’m a work-in-progress, but I am. Everyday I’m trying to evolve to be better and better. I hope you enjoy this little peek into my life.
